jamaican artist bridging reggae, soul, and r&B
EmE (pronounced “Eh-me”) is a Jamaican musical artist and singer-songwriter blending contemporary reggae with modern R&B, soul, and the musical influences of his Jamaican roots. Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, his artistry is grounded in the culture, rhythms, spirituality, and storytelling traditions that shaped him while remaining open to sounds beyond any single genre.
His music explores faith, perseverance, love, relationships, identity, personal growth, social realities, and the complexities of everyday life. Whether reflective, uplifting, romantic, socially conscious, or simply made to feel good, EmE approaches each record with the belief that music should connect through its message, its emotion, or its ability to move people.
At the center of his sound is a warm, commanding and soulful voice that moves between intimate delivery, smooth R&B phrasing, melodic agility, and the conviction and spiritual energy of Jamaican music. Rather than applying the same formula to every record, EmE allows each song to shape the performance, giving him room to move naturally across reggae, R&B, soul, and dancehall while maintaining a distinctly Jamaican foundation.
As his catalog continues to grow, EmE is building a body of work centered on substance, feeling, and longevity. For him, music can entertain while also encouraging, challenging, comforting, and carrying culture from one listener to another. The goal is to create songs people can return to, and still find something in long after the first listen.
